Artist Statement
Currently in my art practice I create fields that act as experimental models of how we build information landscapes.
My goal is to create objects that are both object and field simultaneously, similar to the surrealist technique of confusing figure and ground.
Using office stationery en masse I create materials. These materials are both representations of fields of information and the physical objects used to create the same fields represented.
This new material carries unique textural properties that are explored when creating an object.
