Eddie Botha

artist statement.

Eddie is an acclaimed international artist who is making positive waves in the street art and gallery scene. His works are urban inspired, heavily influenced by street art, and mostly deals with the element of Interaction, culturally and socially. There is often social commentary and humour evident in his works. As a self taught artist, his style is fresh and unique, combining different techniques, materials and unconventional methodology. He was chosen as the featured artist for the Singapore Art fair as well as representing Australia in the Asian Art Biennale. He has had an art tram roaming the streets of Melbourne as part of Melbourne Festival. The works ranging vastly in scale, are implemented with the highest quality materials and finishes and he can produce works based on any topic and colour scheme.
