Life Drawing at Blender Studios

Life drawing at Blender Studios is a hands on practical workshop with a chill as vibe. Studying from a life model is a great way to help develop and strengthen drawing skills and techniques. Each week we will start with a few rounds of quick poses to get a little loose then ease into creating amazing art inspired by our weekly models.

During the workshop there will be one of the resident artist SALVO to guide you along if you would like to try some interesting styles of drawing. Our aim is to get creative, have fun, relax and experiment with gestural mark making using different materials.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who has never done life drawing before but wants to learn and also intermediate and experienced life drawers.

DURATION: 2 hrs

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

We will provide you with some materials including paper, charcoal, graphite pencils, erasers, drawing boards and easels etc. please feel free to bring your own equipment if you would like to play with different mediums.

WHAT TO BRING:

Make sure you wear appropriate clothing for a practical drawing class! we will be mostly working with charcoal and can get quite messy. Feel free to also bring along any of your own materials from home to experiment with.

WHERE:

All classes will be held at Blender Studios in the gallery/workshop space located at 33-35 Dudley Street, West Melbourne 3003.

CLASS SIZE:

Min. of 6 people per class

Max. 25 people per class.
