artist profile.
Just because we’re not kids anymore, doesn’t mean we have to be so damn serious. I think just about everyone during their childhood proudly scribbled on paper without any comparisons or care, and yet somewhere along the way we seem to lose that, and losing that magic is such a waste. My arts practice is this amalgamation of street art, soft sculpture and fine art; resulting in, what I like to call, a grungy Sesame Street aesthetic.
My soft sculptures are replicas of mundane objects, re-conceptualised through their new fabric medium to evoke themes such as the power of place, aforementioned childhood, and the overlooked.
You’ll also find a sprinkling of stencil art, photography, print, drawing and screen printing.
Through my practice I discovered a passion for making my own clothing, and in June 2025, I launched Swanky Apparel, an artistic clothing brand based here in Melbourne, structured around a similar concept to an arts studio. It’s a vessel for myself and other artists, to create and sell garments designed and hand made alongside an arts practice.
