Sunny Tandoc

Sunny or Sun ("tand0c", previously known as "Kate/k8") is a multi-disciplinary artist and animator.

 

Their practice incorporates a combination of traditional and digital mediums to explore their identity as a queer Filipinx/o-Australian with lived experience with mental health and how everyday relationships impact the human experience. Sunny uses gestural mark-making, vivid colours and playful textures to invoke emotion throughout their work.

Sunny has completed a Bachelor of Design (Animation and Interactive Media) at RMIT.They have worked in a variety of settings such as independent film, indie games and community-based projects.
